His Innocent Designer - Page 17/94

“The room at the end of this corridor is my office . You may come to me if you have any doubts or problems for the rest you have Mrs Kalpana.” Jay left her office and now she was free to settle down.

Mrs Kalpana explained to her where the main stuff she required was kept . Cia’s mind was full of designs. She had a very keen sense of observation. First she would draw whatever she had recently noticed. Then she would try to give a shape to her sketch. After that she would decide if the design needed to be printed or if any embroidery would be required. All the lovely flowers and trees she had seen on the way were swimming before her eyes. She drew pictures of the various flowers. She made around ten sketches. After two hours she had discarded four and only six were left.

It was around two pm . Mrs Kalpana entered carrying a tray with lunch.” Jay told me you have shifted to his neighbouring cottage yesterday so I presumed you will not have cooked anything for lunch. I have a habit of making extra chappatis so I brought some for you. I hope you don’t mind. It’s just that my own daughter is of your age. She married two years ago and I still haven’t gotten over. I still miss her and you remind me of her.”
