Varun heard the CREEEEECCHHHHH gate sound so he moved aside from her and saw her. Maya was still in shock but she got back to senses hearing her mom shouting MAYAAA from the hallway.
She then saw Varun and blinked twice. Varun winked at her and chewed the vada. She then punched him on his shoulders and said,”You Na….”
He turned to her and asked,” What did you call me as? Didn’t you say “NA” (Brahmin slang usually used by women to call their husband as respect/other words just like “JI” in Hindi language).
She rolled her eyes and said,” Oh! Do you think that I will call you like that?”
“Why not?”
“I like to call you as Varun only. Is that okay or not for you?”
Before Varun could answer she heard her mom calling out again so she tapped on his elbow and signaled him ONE SECOND and went to see her mom. She saw her dad and brother had arrived also they had bought some items which was heavy so her mom had called her to help her. Varun then took the vada and placed the next then washed his hands and rushed to help them
Maya took a heavy baggage so he went near her and said, “Leave it. Take the small one. I will take this.”
