Shades of Deception - Page 109/118

Malana's video grabbed Jamo's attention. Her voice was beyond sexy. She was a work of art. Her flawless skin gleamed like the Great Blue diamond, and her hair was styled in cornrows with extended braids. She wore a short burgundy dress, and her deep chocolate eyes had an air of secrecy. To say she was a Goddess was no exaggeration.

For him, it was love at first sight. He played that clip several times. No woman has ever had a hold like this on him. He was the love them and leave them type of person. He quickly deleted the remaining messages and contacted her.

For the next several weeks, Jamo and Malana were corresponding by e-mail. She wrote about her life growing up in Benin, the number of countries she had visited, and her job as a financial analyst for large banks and financial institutions. She had her own apartment and mentioned how one could live quite comfortably on very little money in her country.

This bit of information was of interest to him since he was planning to relocate anyway. Perhaps, Benin could be that place.

He told her that he would be receiving a large sum of money soon, and maybe he could travel to Benin for an extended vacation.

She was planning to visit D.C. in a week or two and wanted to meet and spend some time with him.

Since Jamo was still living at home with his parents, he could not invite Malana to stay with him and would not tell them about her until he was ready to leave D.C.

He e-mailed her and recommended a nice inn within walking distance from the university campus.

She responded, gave him her arrival date, made reservations at the hotel and was due to arrive on a Friday afternoon, two days before Jamo's birthday.

For the next two weeks, Jamo was in high spirits. The staff noticed a complete change in him. He was actually working; he never got anyone to take over his sales. Some thought he was finally coming around to taking over the company.

Since he was coming into money, he would either expand the business or open a second auto dealership in another locale.

Whatever the reasons were, the staff was pleased, because he was finally earning his stipend.

Today, Malana was due to arrive. Jamo left work to meet her at the airport and arrived about thirty minutes before the plane was due to land.

While sitting and waiting, he was contemplating on what he was going to say to her. He was never off course for words when it came to women.
