Vedella's friends waited patiently for her at breakfast. They were ready to hear everything about the date and Vance.

Vedella was escorted to dining room where her friends were having breakfast.

"Good morning ladies." Vedella said.

"Tell us about your Texas gentleman." Dixie responded.

Vedella blushed.

"I think our dear Vedella has lost some of her spunk." Winola commented.

"Darling, I think you're in love. It's been a long time since I've seen you like this." Georgianna replied.

"Yes, I think that this isn't one of you wheels and deals." Jannie Marie replied.

"Ladies his is something else! I almost ran out of the nightclub. I did lose my composure in the cab. He's from Houston. He's in the oil business and he's single. His brother brought him to the nightclub hoping find him a wife." Vedella gave all of the information they needed.

"Sounds quite intriguing." Georgianna replied.

"Honey, he seems to care for you. Catch him as soon as you can." Winola remarked.

"I have to get to know him a little bit more." Vedella answered.

"I think she's caught in a deal the Vance will win." Dixie quipped.

They all laughed and finished their breakfast.

The first stop was to the art gallery. Winola and Georgianna brought a painting. The next stop was at the museum. The next stop was at a café for a light snack and shopping was their next adventure.

After such a tiring day, the young ladies returned to the hotel for a nap to be fresh for the theater tonight.

Vedella picked up the receiver and call the number Vance had written on the paper napkin. The telephone ranged.

"Hello." The voice answered. It was a voice of a teenager.

"May I speak to Mr. Vance Dallas, please? Vedella asked.

"Just a moment, please." The teenager replied.

"Vance." The voice seemed to echo.

"Hi honey, this is Vedella.

"I knew the dream I had this morning would come true." Vance remarked.

"I call to say hello and to let you know I didn't lose you napkin." Vedella teased.

"How about having dinner with me tonight? Vance asked.

"I can't tonight. We're going to the theater." Vedella answered and told him what play they're attending.

"I saw that the night before last. You and your friends will enjoy it very much. I'm leaving in the morning to head back to Houston. Let me give you my number and address in case I don't get a chance to talk to you again." Vance replied.
