Custody Battle - Page 81/86

“Grateful!!!” Mandisa screamed on top of her lungs and reached out for Tebogo to struggle him. Since he was taller than her, her hands could only reach his chest and that had to do. She pounded his chest. “I’ll show you grateful, you smug, son of a diseased whore!” Mandisa said hitting him with all her power, not that there was much and it less than a minute, she was drained and all that was left was tired sorrowful tears. Tebogo’s arms came instinctively around her.

She pulled away from him. ‘Get off me!” she said with a sob. Why the hell she was crying now, she didn’t know. Tebogo had come to Johannesburg to get Joy by any means necessary. He had achieved his goal. That she had lost her heart in the process meant nothing to him. And why should it, he didn’t have a heart and didn’t know what it meant to care for someone that you would do anything for them.

Tebogo took the document from her and looked at it, his eyes closed slights and his jaw tightened. He turned to the lawyer and looked at the documents he had.

;Mother, do you care to explain this?” Tebogo said, turning to his mother in full rage. Rose opened and closed her mouth with no sound coming out.

“Don’t bother. I won’t buy her explanation any way.” Mandisa said. She grabbed the documents from Tebogo and walked up to her briefcase. She had had enough. “You people make me sick!” She dumped the documents inside and headed for the door.

“Stop!” Tebogo commanded and to her surprised her legs obeyed. “You are not going anywhere.” He said facing her.

“Says who, I’m going straight to the police and tell them you tried to steal Joy. Tumi agreed to full custody but you were not going to follow his wishes were you? No, you were going to do what you do best - destroy people’s lives. How the hell do you live with yourself!?”

“You are not going anywhere.” Tebogo said coming towards her. “Not until you and I have talked.”

“There is nothing to talk about.” Mandisa said stubbornly. “Joy stays with Sindi and if you and your mother know what is good for you, you will never try to contact us ever again.” Mandisa headed for the door.
