From her vantage point, Aurora saw Jimmy come into view. He was breathing hard and his perfectly crisp white suit was rumbled and slightly stained with the blood of the girl he dragged into his room. He stayed within the back of the room attempting to be concealed from the rooms prying eyes. To his fortune, all eyes were on the young pop star that had just entered the lobby with flash bulbs blazing. Now she had two challengers fighting for her prey and it would take all her skill to bring him down. Vegas spied Aurora standing on the opposing side of the room but missed the other player in the deadly game. Crow didn't move but blended into the mix of the adoring pop star fans, he seemed to Aurora that he was only studying his target rather than in hunting mode. If he was not planning to strike in the lobby at this moment in time, then Vegas was still her only worry.
The room's assembly went into a frenzy as the child pop star strolled the hotel lobby with hands waving and thanking his beloved fans. With such a cheering collection of citizens calling out at once now….this would be a good time to pull the trigger and slip off under the cover of human voices, the female assassin thought as she slowly reached for her weapon. Bear's protectors stood a little too close for her to bring him down from her vantage point though. Crow on the other hand seemed not to move but only surveyed the target with little expression and Jimmy Vegas like a cat stalking the prey with eyes forward as he worked his way through the crowd.
Although his female counterpart tried to throw him off his game, the seasoned gambler knew when to play his hand and when to toss his cards on the table. He knew his time was limited before Aurora's actions upstairs on the girl filtered down to the lobby and cops came looking for him. The boy singer was covered well by his bodyguards but all three assassins knew that it took only one shot to change all that. At that moment in time, Aurora didn't have the shot line right from where she stood and as she glanced upon Crow, it seemed as though he was not going to take any action at this time. Her eyes drew in on Jimmy Vegas once more as he seemed somehow to place himself closer to the target than she.
The sounds in the room appeared to grow in tone. The sound of her gun now may have been masked by the cheers of the fans. Placing her hand over her concealed weapons holster, Aurora made ready for what would have to be a one shot execution. Hiking up the right side of her blue tee shirt, she slid her fingers under the fabric and up under the leather flap of the holster. With a slight tug, she opened the flap but held her hand over the opening to keep the gun covered up until she was ready to withdraw it. She could see her competition too was ready to strike….it would come down to who could draw first and get off the all-important shot before anyone could react.
