Kill Fest - Page 67/133

Withdrawing from the bed from where she lay, she stuffed the tablet into a back pack and reached for a hair tie. Within one smooth move, she forced all her braided hair into a ponytail, tied it in place and covered it all with a plain black ball cap. A quick check of her revolver as she spun the chamber barrel full of little death stingers as she liked to call her ammo. Stepping before her apartment mirror, the 5 foot 7 female stood looking upon her image. It was a sort of a ritual by this time, a sort of way to prepare her for the actions she would soon take.

For Jodi Richman, killing others didn't come to her as easily as with natural born killers like Aurora Constantine and Ivan: The Big Russian. She had to almost turn herself into someone else, play a role as she once did as an undercover vice cop. Now the role as a hired gun was to be her newest role and one that she was damn good at. There in the mirror stood a young woman, strong and poised for action. Dressed in all black from head to toe, her new form fitting tee shirt felt a little too snug for her liking but loved the way it looked on her. Holding up her snub nose revolver in front her, she marveled how it looked against her outfit. The weapons black finish almost invisible upon the backdrop of her flat black shirt. Lowing her head slightly, she raised the gun and with a two handed clasp pointed the firearm directly into her mirror image.

"Bang!" she spoke aloud toying with the killer device compelling her into the right frame of mind. For Jodi Richman, the role of the assassin was now complete and as she gazed over her image one last time she gave herself a nod and made her way for the door.
