Sara burst out laughing and crying at the same time. "No, not this week, but soon."

People from the town began appearing and assisting Roy and Sara. The local doctor arrived and started barking commands about getting Roy inside. The town mortician rolled up in a buckboard. He, along with two other men, loaded the various dead bodies into the wagon. As several men began to pick up Roy to transport him to the doctor's office, Roy stopped them.

"Where's Tom? Tom, are you here?"

"Yes Roy, what do you need, my friend?"

"Find our thieving sheriff Buddy and lock him up someplace. He's probably looking for a key to his handcuffs. The Marshals should be here any day now and will arrest that fool."

"No problem Roy. Consider the job done."

"Thank you, Tom. Oh, and tell your son Bobby thanks for saving my life."

"You bet my friend. Now get well."

Roy blinked because something was dripping onto his face. Drops of water splattered on Roy's face as he fought to keep his eyes open. Suddenly the rain began to pour and folks scrambled to empty the street. Feeling the raindrops on his face and mumbling to know no one, in particular, Roy commented on the event.

"Well, I'll be-rain!"

Abe and Billy ran over and met the men carrying Roy to the doctor's office. Abe grabbed the handle on the stretcher close to Roy's head. Roy opened his eyes to see Abe wiping tears away as they walked.

"Abe, I'm okay. The doc says I'll be good as new in no time."

"Roy, you killed the bad guys and saved the whole town. Don't you die on us; I love you like my Paw." Abe bent over along with Billy and started hugging Roy, who winced. The intimacy felt great, but Roy was in a lot of pain. He finally interrupted the display of affection.

"I love you too Abraham and Billy, now do me a favor and go help your Maw. Could you also give her a hug from me? Can you do that?"

Abe and Billy nodded and then ran off to their mother.
