Eraldo and Rosemary began arguing over what had just happened, their argument which was heated and very loud at first, grew very quiet and faint as Alannah lost focus and drifted into unconsiousness. She felt herself fade into oblivion, she felt as though her life was fading away along with that of her unborn child and any sense of hope that she would ever recover from this. What was happening here was far worse than anything her father had ever done to her . . . she just prayed that it would all be over soon.
