Chapter 788: Dragon’s Call

These four dragons that were summoned all had names: Dreamscythe, Weaver, Morphaz and Hazzas. Although these were only copies of the original small bosses, they were definitely not lacking in HP – each of them had 35000 HP.
Now that there were more to deal with, a single Paladin would find it much more difficult to control the situation. Furthermore, there were two enchanted dragons as well.
As such, Lu Li could only choose to clear out the smaller monsters.
"Sakura Memories, go and attack the other dragon. I'll attack this one. Remember to use Interrupt," Lu Li commanded. These two dragons would heal the main Boss by 10% HP each time, so it was critical to interrupt them. Otherwise, all of their effort would have amounted to nothing.
"Leave it to me," Sakura Memories said as she swiftly changed targets.
"Alright, everyone, keep maintaining your ranged DPS just like you're doing now. As soon as you are repelled, remember to return to your original positions," Lu Li instructed.
The four dragons were all killed after a few minutes, and every attempt of healing the main Boss was cancelled using Interrupt. Without Lu Li's reminders, more time would have been wasted. "I must not allow these powers of evil to invade this world! Come! I will end all of your puny lives!" the Shade of Eranikus roared.
The players who were present at the time instantly sharpened their focus. Every time that the Boss roared and made a commotion foreshadowed an ultimate skill that was about to be used. This time was no exception; it seemed like a full-map attack.
Acid Breath: Inflicts Natural damage to target every 3 seconds for 15 seconds after Acid Breath is casted.
"Hachi Chan, use Tranquillity…" Lu Li reminded.
However, before Lu Li could even finish, Hachi Chan had already casted her upgraded Tranquillity. All of the poisonous acid suddenly was lifted into the sky and everyone's HP bars began regenerating.
This skill alone made Hachi Chan a valuable asset for any elite Instance Dungeon team.
"Increase DPS! Sakura Memories, use Bloodlust!" Lu Li shouted after taking a glance at the Boss' HP.
If they were unable to lower the Boss' HP to 20%, there would surely be casualties. If too many members died now, they would require a complete restart.
"4% left, keep going!" After nine minutes, Lu Li was beginning to feel nervous.
It was unlikely that they could shave off 1% of the Boss' HP in a minute, so Lu Li decided to take matters into his own hands. He hesitated for a moment and unleashed the Book of Ur.
The Book of Ur (Gold): All Attributes +15, Critical Hit +10%, Special Effect: Summons a large wolf. Lasts for 5 minutes. Cooldown 24 hours. Special Effect 2: Transform into a Worgen, lasts for 10 seconds. Cooldown 24 hours. Requirement: Level 35. Durability 120/120.
Over the next 10 seconds, Lu Li alone dealt 2% of Eranikus' HP.
Lu Li's strength left all the others speechless and in awe.
The sharp-witted people would have already known that this was Lu Li's trump card. As they stood in admiration, they couldn't help but feel moved at the same time. Lu Li had clearly shown that they were more than acquaintances by revealing this skill of his.
Lu Li was not aware of the effects that he had on them.
He only wanted to clear this dungeon as quickly as possible so that he could return and fight in the competition.
The match against Wings of Dawn was today, and they were one of their toughest opponents. If he, Kitty Likes Meat and Sakura Memories were not in attendance, Moonlight and others would be utterly destroyed.
They successfully defeated the Boss after focusing and fighting cautiously through the final stage.
Similar to before, no one received skill points as a reward. After that, they could only wait to see what legendary equipment would drop from the Boss. Azure Sea Breeze and Drifting Rain were the most excited out of everyone.
Instance Dungeons that were under Level 50 did not often drop Legendary equipment, since it was so rare. Even if they did, it would be the same type of equipment as The Book of Ur, which could be upgraded to Legendary grade.
The Shade of Eranikus would drop a single-handed sword called the Dragon's Call.
The real Dragon's Call was a mythical blade with the green dragon's symbol and was in the possession of the green Dragon Queen Ysera.
Although the Attack Speed of the sword was slow, it was extremely powerful. The damage alone exceeded many dual-wielding swords of the same grade. This made it a highly coveted weapon among Warriors.
While attacking enemies, the sword also had a chance of summoning three dragons to aid the player in battle, similar to Lu Li's Book of Ur. An effect like this could be described as an instantaneous burst skill.
Furthermore, if the wielder was harmed, there was also a chance of giving them a Draconian Deflector.
Considering all of these effects, both DPS classes and Tank classes would want this weapon if they were able to wield it.
Unfortunately, its drop rate was way too low – the official website listed it as 0.08%. This meant that for every 10,000 clears of the dungeon, only eight would drop.
In front of hopeful faces, Remnant Dream carefully the Boss' corpse for loot.
Dragon's Eye – an exquisite Gold grade Necklace.
Unfortunately, everyone was so distracted by the prospects of finding the Legendary sword that no one realised that this rare necklace had dropped. They only wanted Remnant Dream to keep searching.
Tooth of Eranikus – a Gold, single-handed axe with decent properties.
Originally, the appearance of Gold equipment would cause teams to cheer. However, in Lu Li's team, no one was especially happy about it, since they knew that no more Legendary equipment would drop.
Normally, Elite Instance Bosses would only drop two equips at the very most.
After that, there were only a few chances at a skill book, a recipe, a blueprint, or a rare material.
Remnant Dream kept searching and found a blueprint for the Green Dragonscale Breastplate, which was suited for Shaman healers. Usually, not even Nightmare Difficulty would drop these.
"Nothing left," Remnant Dream said apologetically, like a child who had done something wrong.
"That's alright, don't worry. The drop rate is extremely low anyway, so it's normal that it didn't drop this time. Let's roll to split these two Gold equips," Azure Sea Breeze said, unfazed by their misfortune.
