They reached grandma's Hazel place by evening and notice a yellow taped off around her cabin and it had been burned down so she thought about the treehouse which was about a half a mile away. She knew she couldn't stay there but since grandma's cabin was gone she might as well say her goodbyes to the treehouse and decide where she was going next. She figured that Nicholas father had this done so everywhere she had listed as referrences at the store was not a good place to go.
She parked behind some tall bushes and put on a pair of gloves as a safety precaution to keep from getting splinters in her hands while climbing the ladder into the treehouse. The closer to the top she got she could smell a stinch like a dead animal or something. She opened the door and found a dead body in it She was so startled that she almost fell out of it to the ground but caught herself at the last moment. She hurried down and sat in the minibus for a few minutes. That body had been there for quite awhile. She decide that they would go westward for awhile. She wanted to get out of that particular state before bedtime. She stopped and filled up the minibus and they had network acess but she felt she couldn't use it that surely would be a give away to her where abouts so the next big city she;ll have to rent an apartment even though she wasn't intending to stay out so she could make a fake utility bill envelope and mail it to the apartment like she did to get her ID then she could get a library card and would be able to do some research on when grandma's cabin burned down. She worried that the goons was still around and seen the minibus.
