The Spider's Fly - Page 24/49

The next day, Lindsey was super excited to go to school. She couldn’t wait to thank her fourth grade teacher Mrs. Count, and the schools sixth grade teacher Mr. Lakso, for arranging and providing, such a wonderful trip. Lindsey arrived to school early and went to Mr. Lakso’s class to thank him first. After thanking Mr. Lakso, she arrived to her classroom and thanked Mrs. Count. Both teachers said that they were very proud of her accomplishments and were happy to be able to reward her for a job well done. Lindsey’s continued to make improvements throughout the school year. In fact she was doing so well that she was already way ahead of the class. Since Lindsey was doing so well, there was no longer any need for after school tutoring. Lindsey could spend her free time after school, doing whatever she wanted to. She could play at the park, go to her friends house, or whatever she wanted to do. Lindsey started spending her free time reading and learning new things. Since she was spending most of her free time at home learning new things, Lindsey was beginning to miss her fourth grade teacher. Even though she was still in Mrs. Count’s class, she was still missing her after school. Little did she know that Mrs. Count was missing her too. With the end of the school year fast approaching, Lindsey decided that she wanted to speak to her teacher, to let her know how much she appreciated everything that she had done, and how much she was going to miss her when the school year ends. It was the end of another perfect school day.The bell rang and instead of running out the door with everyone else in class, Lindsey decided that it was a good time to speak to Mrs. Count. Lindsey ran over to Mrs. Count and thanked her for everything and told her how much she was going to miss her. Mrs. Count gave Lindsey a big hug, and told Lindsey that she would miss her as well. As they went home for the day, Mrs. Count was trying to think of a way to spend more time with Lindsey and some of the other students in her class. Mrs. Count came up with a fantastic idea, and couldn’t wait to present her idea to the school.
