“Don’t let her appearance fool you.”
“No attacker in his right mind would take a woman dressed like that serious.”
Alex eyed her bodyguard with satisfaction. “I think she looks good with her Chinese bob, white beaded necklace, bodice, bootleg jeans, and high heels.”
“I will have to speak to your father regarding her dress code.”
She stopped him short in his stride. “You will do no such thing!”
“It is not up to you.”
“I beg to differ!”
“Is there a problem?” Diane enquired a little worried.
He turned towards her. “Stay out of this.”
“Is he threatening you?”
Alex looked from one to the other. “You are not going to ruin my day!” she snapped heading towards the car. Leaving a speechless Miguel and Diane behind. Getting in she put the car into gear. “Are you coming?”
“She won’t dare to leave…”
“Then you still have much to learn,” Diane said, rushing towards the car.
“Great!” he growled and followed.
“Jump in!” She started to drive off.
Diane got in front, leaving Miguel no option, but to dive into the back. Struggling, he managed to correct himself as they picked up speed. In horror, he watched as they approached the gate. Lunatic! He thought, opening his mouth.
