“I’m sure you’re good at a lot of things, reading other people’s minds.” She drawled, then snapped that traitorous mouth shut. “I mean I’m sure you have many talents apart from health and fitness. Darn. Must escape from Mr. gorgeous.She thought.

“I’d really like to help. If you want anyone to talk to anyone, you know where to find me.” His voice was soft and manly, it would taste so good hearing it close to her ears. “It’s against my princely nature to let a damsel in distress to fend for herself or fight her own demons.” His gaze raked her face, devoured her features like he was seeing her for the first time. His face was chiseled, every edge sharp. His lips compressed, jaw set. His eyelids were too low for her to see his eyes, he was studying her. His gaze lingered in her jaw then he looked into her eyes. He held her gaze for a long moment, hazel to hazel. Tense beyond bearing, her nerves stretched tight. She wanted to compose herself. She was not going to let him know she fancied him.
