"Oh I can't even ask you a question" he said getting defensive. He knew she was right and he was pissed off at himself for even caring. All he wanted from Mia was some pussy and if she had given him some when he had asked for it the first time then all of this wouldn't be necessary. He was sure if that had happened he would have been over her and onto the next conquest.
"Not that I owe you an explanation but, Skip is someone I've known for a very long time" she vaguely explained as she turned going back towards the shop. Jayden suddenly ran after her and grabbed her around the waist pulling her into him.
"You fucking him" he needed to know that much. Mia stopped and turned around looking at him.
"I don't believe that's any of your business" she asserted.
"Whatever happened to that six month rule of yours and meeting your daddy? What you giving discounts to senior citizens?" Mia swallowed her laughter.
"Jayden you're impossible. Why do you care what I do and who I do it with? I thought you had an endless supply in pussy-land somewhere."
"Pussy-land, is there a place like that?"
"Idiot" she called out and restarted with her steps.
"Why him and not me" Jayden asked curiously. He couldn't help but wondering what did the old guy have that he didn't and he wanted to know how he too could have some of Mia's action.
"You seriously don't know or are you just pretending to be an idiot?" She stopped taking the time to ask him a question with a question.
"Maybe a little of both…" He gave her his boyish grin. Mia couldn't resist how sweet he looked right now she smiled. Jayden noticed it and then she straightened her face back up. She rolled her eyes and walked away leaving him to figure out what the old guy had that he didn't.
Reentering the drum room the drinks were there and Avery and A.J. were on stage beating the drums now. The two of them were smiling as they played in sync harmonizing like a good father and son team. Nita sat in the audience snapping away pictures with the digital camera. Jayden and Mia retook their seats. Nita stopped snapping pictures long enough to give them a knowing look and smile.
"Hey old-timer isn't it past your bed time" Jayden couldn't help asking. That old man's presence was truly annoying the hell out of him and he had to figure out a way to get rid of him. Skip looked at the young Duke while hiding his own mischievous grin.
